PERU
Cordillera Blanca | Alpamayo (5,947m) summit expedition
Join us in Peru to climb 5,947m Mt.Alpamayo - a true Andean classic (15 days)
Alpamayo is not about speed or numbers — it is about precision, patience and commitment. This expedition is designed for climbers who value clean alpine climbing, thoughtful acclimatization, and moving deliberately through one of the most beautiful mountain environments on Earth.
SETUP
Alpamayo is a near-perfect pyramid of ice rising from the heart of Peru’s Cordillera Blanca. This expedition is a classic Andean alpine climb, combining long approaches, high camps, and sustained steep snow and ice on one of South America’s most aesthetic summits.
Our ascent follows the French Route, a sustained and elegant line of 45–60° snow and ice that rewards precise movement, efficient systems, and solid acclimatization. The climb is technical but not extreme, making it an ideal objective for experienced alpinists looking to step into serious alpine terrain above 5,900 meters.
