ECUADOR
Volcano skiing & splitboarding
Join us in Ecuador this coming November to ski volcanoes in 14 days (*optional extra days)
The trip combines high altitude volcano skiing, Andean culture, and some of the most accessible 6,000 meter ski objectives in the world: Cayambe (5,790 m), Cotopaxi (5,897 m), and Chimborazo (6,263 m).
We start in Quito and spend several days acclimatizing on smaller peaks before moving onto Cayambe, Cotopaxi, and Chimborazo. The itinerary is designed to build altitude gradually while reviewing glacier travel, climbing, and ski mountaineering skills.
A good level of fitness, previous ski touring experience, and confidence skiing variable snow conditions are required.
SETUP
What sets us apart is our groups. We are small. Guide ratios are 4 skiers to 1 ski guide. This enables us to cater each day for the group ability, interest, and experience. We will make this trip “your” experience.
